With such a diverse range of activity here at the Cathedral there’s sure to be a volunteer role that appeals to everyone!

We’re looking for people who:

• Love meeting people from all walks of life
• Are friendly and approachable
• Enjoy chatting to people – sharing information and answering questions.
• Are adaptable and up for a challenge

No prior knowledge of the Cathedral is needed, and full training will be given.

All of our volunteers play a vital role in helping visitors to enjoy their time at the Cathedral. The roles below are our current priorities – click on each title to find out more!

We’re also looking for:

• General repairs and maintenance crew – maintaining our buildings, interiors and grounds is a big job. If you have painting, carpentry, cleaning, gardening or general skills you would like to offer we would love to hear from you.
• Servers – Our team of servers undertake a number of practical tasks which help our formal services to run smoothly. Joining the team is a really good way of contributing to the Cathedral’s worship.
• Chaplains – Join the team who give a few hours each month to provide a ministry of welcome, prayer and listening to visitors.
