In-Memory - Adopt a Day
Your In-Memory message is important to you and to us, we want to display your heartfelt dedication for your loved one, in a meaningful way, here at the Cathedral. For just £365 you can choose a date, which we will mark by presenting your personal message on a special display in the Cathedral’s dedicated In-Memory Table for all to read. 1000s of visitors to the Cathedral will see your special message in a prominent position within the New Cathedral. You will have a displayed photo, a special poem or your dedication, in your own words, displayed on the in-memory table. You also have the option of ordering flowers to be displayed along side your dedication.
You will also receive an invitation to attend a private reception and musical event with the Choir each year as a 'Benefactor of the Cathedral' and your dedication will be recorded in a special place and mentioned at the Benefactors’ Service each September.
Thanks to your support just an ordinary day at the Cathedral will become a great moment to celebrate and commemorate someone that was loved. The dedication will also show they were linked to Coventry and the Cathedral. This is a wonderful opportunity to provide essential funds that will keep our Cathedral open and free to enter every single day of the year. You will be making a difference.
Not charging for admission costs the Cathedral around £130,000 a year; a daily amount of about £365. If you donate this amount, either as a single gift or through a regular direct debit/standing order, you will have a special a dedicated table in the Cathedral for 1000's of visitors to see your love and message every year. You are also able to order flowers for the table and add photos that we will display for you. You will be making a valuable contribution to keeping the wonders of the Cathedral and its unique message of reconciliation available to everyone and for future generations to come.
Forever In-Memory Millennium Screen
You can have a permanent dedication in the Coventry Cathedral by having a loved one's name etched on the Millennium Screen in the Millennium Chapel.
The chapel was initially funded by donations from local people, whose names, and of their loved ones, are engraved on the glass chapel walls called the Millennium Screen. More recent names of people who are connected to Coventry have had their names added to the screen. You can remember a loved one as an in-memory dedication of their life and links to Coventry and the Cathedral.
