School visits

"We really enjoyed our trip. It was such a valuable learning experience for our group."

We make every visit to the Cathedral memorable, enjoyable and packed with learning. We provide a variety of guided tours all designed around the National Curriculum covering a range of topics for Early Years and Key Stages 1–5. Whole day visits include our engaging and popular workshops. Why not take a look at our Education Team Programme and start planning your day?

  • Leave your classroom behind for the day and bring your pupils to learn and wonder in the Cathedral.
  • Enhance learning by bringing your pupils to experience curriculum concepts in the breath taking setting of the old and new cathedrals. We offer tours and workshops that focus on History, RE, Art, Peace & Reconciliation and Maths, plus many more.
  • Experience outstanding learning opportunities for your pupils through our tours and workshops programme.
  • Immerse pupils in their learning through our curriculum events programme, ranging from Maths to Dance.

To enquire about an educational visit, please browse our Education Booklet 2023, and complete our booking form or call 02476 521 221.
