Thanks to everyone's generous donations we've reached our target!
Engraver John Hutton took 10 years to develop the unique etching system that enabled him to carve the angels into the 70-foot-high West Screen. One of the original cartoons is currently part of an estate, the executors have agreed to accept the pre-auction sum of £1500 if it can be raised by the Friends of Coventry Cathedral. The cartoon would then go on display at the Cathedral. More information can be found on the Photo Miners website.
Thanks to everyone who has generously supported our cause, including Aaron Law and Photo Miners! More info soon on the cartoons arrival to Coventry Cathedral!
