Broken Angel restoration heads to Recclesia Stained Glass
We would like to thank everyone who has supported the Broken Angel restoration project over the last 3 years.
This week Recclesia Stained Glass have carefully taken away ‘The Angel of the Eternal Gospel’ to be restored. The panel of the West Screen adjacent to the ‘south’ door was sadly vandalised in January 2020. Incredibly thanks to almost entirely individual donations, the shattered fragments are now with Recclesia Stained Glass who will restore the Angel. Unfortunately, because the window was shattered in some places beyond repair, the Angel will not be able to return to the West Screen, however once the partial restoration is complete will be available to view on request, we hope later this year.
