Day of Prayer for Peace

Come as join us for a Day of Prayer for Peace on Saturday 1st November, as Coventry Cathedral begins its Season of Reconciliation in prayer. Between 9am and 9pm, we will be praying for the peace of the world. There will be a variety of interactive prayer workshops including praying with photography, prayer-walking a labyrinth, praying with prayer beads, praying with all-ages and more. There will be prayer sessions led by friends from Embrace the Middle East and Tear Fund – and also a panel where we learn more about putting our prayers into practical action. The day will be held together with short acts of worship from different traditions including Church of England, Celtic and Taize. You can come along for the whole day or drop in for half an hour – we will be so happy to see you! Watch out for a programme for the day which will be coming soon…
