A visit from Papal Nuncio, Archbishop Miguel Maury Buendia, the Pope's Ambassador to the UK

It was a privilege today to welcome Archbishop Miguel Maury Buendia Papal Nuncio, Archbishop Bernard Longley Archbishop of Birmingham, Bishop Richard Walker and Monsignor Tom Farrell to Coventry Cathedral.
As Papal Nuncio, Archbishop Miguel Maury Buendia is the Pope's Ambassador to the UK and the occasion formed part of his official visit to the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Birmingham. After a tour of the Cathedral, Canon Kate Massey, currently the Acting Dean, invited the Archbishops to join in praying the Coventry Litany of Reconciliation in the Chapel of Unity.
Acting Dean, Canon Kate Massey also presented Archbishop Maury Buendia with a model of the Vasconcellos "Reconciliation" statue.
It was a joyous occasion celebrating the friendship between our churches and the shared faith in Jesus Christ which compels us to work for peace.
