A tribute to His Holiness, Pope Francis
We are deeply saddened to hear of the death of Pope Francis. He was a true reconciler, a man who helped us see what Jesus’ ministry looks like in practice amongst the challenges and confusions of the contemporary world. He held space for us to discover what it means for each person to know themselves loved and held by God, and to discover what part each person, especially the vulnerable and excluded could play in building Jesus’ kingdom of justice and peace. We pray especially for our sisters and brothers in the Roman Catholic Church, and also for the whole human family - we have lost not just a true Christian, but also a true human being. May he rest in peace and rise in glory.
