Join us as October Plenty bursts onto the streets of Coventry for a celebration of seasons, weather and food! Meet us as we begin at the Coventry Cathedral Ruins before processing together down to Fargo Village for a mix of ancient customs, contemporary festivities, music and performance! A day for all the family as we rejoice in the bounty of the harvest with warming storytelling, beer and the magnificent Corn Queene!
Established in the 1990s on London’s Bankside by the Lions part company, October Plenty has grown and taken flight to land in Coventry! Come with us as we bring this tradition to the streets of Coventry for the very first time! It’s a sight your eyes won’t believe, so come, dance and be merry!
“We are so thrilled to be able to bring this magical festival to Coventry, and we look forward to building the tradition with the city and our generous partner organisations for years to come!”
– Sonia Ritter, Festival Originator & Co-Artistic Director of the Lions part
