Join us at Coventry Cathedral for a unique opportunity to explore one of the UK’s most iconic instruments. Whether you’re a young organist already learning, or a child completely new to the organ, or simply curious, this exciting day offers something for all young music lovers.

Event Schedule

All activities take place inside Coventry Cathedral.

10:00 – 11:20 - Workshop for Young Organists

For school‑aged organists currently learning the organ.

• Maximum of 8 participants
• 10 minutes playing time each
• Expert guidance from our music team

11:30 – 12:00 - Q&A with Adam Heron

A friendly session exploring:

• Cathedral music life
• Organ scholarships
• Conservatoire pathways

Light refreshments provided.

12:30 – 13:00 - “Organ Favourites” – Demonstration Recital by Liam Condon - (OPEN TO ALL)

Enjoy a short, accessible recital showcasing much‑loved organ repertoire.

13:15 – 13:30 - Talk: The Coventry Cathedral Organ - (OPEN TO ALL)

Discover the story of our renowned organ and why it now needs rebuilding.

Safeguarding

All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult and sign in on arrival.
