Discover the artistic journey of Coventry-born sculptor Peter Eugene Ball, whose career spans over six decades—from his early studies at Coventry College of Art to his recent gift of Our Lady of Peace to Coventry Cathedral.

Curated by Coventry University Archives (CUA) in collaboration with undergraduate Graphic Art and Design students, this exhibition showcases a rare selection of original works from the Peter Eugene Ball collection.

Ball’s sculptures can be found in over ninety cathedrals and churches across the UK, with additional religious and secular pieces held internationally in public and private collections. This exhibition offers a unique opportunity to explore his creative process and artistic legacy.

Reclaiming Sanctuary highlights Ball’s distinctive use of reclaimed materials, including driftwood and Victorian front doors, bringing new life to forgotten objects.
