Kneelers:
Coventry's Mid Century Modern Contribution to the English Folk Tradition
An Archive Corner Exhibition
This exhibition will take you from a Fabric warehouse in Manchester to the West End cast of My Fair Lady, and try to answer the age old question: what exactly is a Kneeler and why does Coventry's contribution to this quirky English folk tradition matter?
The exhibition will also be the launch of 'Archive Corner,' a new rotating museum space designed to connect you with some of our Cathedral's treasures.
We will be hosting some inhouse embroidery workshops inspired by the exhibition on the following dates and times.
Wednesday 18th March - 10 - 12noon
Thursday 9th April - 6 - 8pm
Saturday 11th April - 1 - 3pm
