Adam is currently Organ Scholar at Coventry Cathedral, alongside which he is studying for the MMus degree in organ performance at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. He previously held the organ scholar at Peterborough Cathedral, where he had a major role in accompanying services and chorister training.
Adam is originally from Durham and started piano lessons at a young age, later learning to play the organ. He studied engineering at the University of Sheffield and, after graduating, returned home to Durham and worked for a local renewable energy company for three years. Throughout school, university, and a short career in another field Adam has always been a passionate musician and maintained a busy schedule of freelance musical work alongside full-time employment. In 2024 he made the decision to pursue a career in music, taking up the Organ Scholarship at Peterborough Cathedral in September of that year.
