spaces(in)BETWEEN is a lasting legacy project on walking routes across Coventry, commissioned as part of Coventry City of Culture’s Green Futures programme. Food Union and The Pod have commissioned a musician, an artist and a sociologist to take us to their spaces-in-between and what emerged were three distinctive walks, spanning the west of Coventry, in Spon End, through to Ball Hill and as far east as the suburb of Wyken.
The three walkers also worked collaboratively with film-maker-in-residence Duncan Whitley to produce three short films that allow the viewers into the three distinct practices.
Join us on the 22nd of September, at Coventry Cathedral for a roundtable discussion of the works and their accompanying films, chaired by the POD’s critical friend Alix Villanueva and project leader Greg Muldoon, with Dr Nirmal Puwar, Martin Green, Charlie Tophill and Duncan Whitley.
