The film follows Emma – one of the Schools’ Team around on her tour. She explains what happened during World War Two, visits the Chapel of Unity to explore what Unity and Peace means and the symbols found in the New Cathedral.
The accompanying workbook will enable students to engage with the story and deepen their learning.

This workbook explores what empathy means, includes a self assessment quiz to help students understand their strengths and weaknesses. It uses literacy skills, imagination and creativity to explore empathy using an empathy map.

Linking to the Cathedral’s youtube film children will learn about what happened to the medieval cathedral of St Michaelâs on the night of November 14th 1940.
