Organ Scholar

Average 7 hours a week £2500 per annum. (non permanent)

A 10 month apprenticeship to learn from the resident organists of the Cathedral by observing, assisting and playing. The scholarship will give the student the opportunity to accompany a professional choir and to gain experience conducting. They will also gain teaching experience by working with the youngest choristers. They will be perform in services and recitals on one of the world’s most iconic instruments. The scholarship provides the experience and boost needed to launch a career as an organist.
