Tuesday March 23rd, the anniversary of the first UK lockdown, sees the nation coming together for a National Day of Reflection to reflect on our collective loss, support those who’ve been bereaved, and hope for a brighter future.
To mark the occasion, Bishop Christopher will lead an Act of Prayer at 12 noon which will incorporate the Litany of Reconciliation. This will be accessible via Facebook Live (tiny.cc/cathfacebook) and our YouTube site (tiny.cc/cathyoutube). It is also available via our telephone service (02476 939700).
Those who come to the Cathedral to pray are welcome to tie a yellow ribbon to a special Tree of Remembrance which will be set up in the Nave from Sunday afternoon.
This day offers us all time to pause and think about the unprecedented loss we have faced, and allow us to support each other through our grief in the years to come.
