During the latest period of lockdown, the Cathedral will be open for private prayer between 11 am and 3 pm each day (12 noon to 3 pm on Sundays).

Our daily worship continues online with members of the Cathedral team live-streaming services from their homes. These can be accessed via tiny.cc/cathfacebook.

The usual timetable is Morning Prayer and Holy Communion at 8.30 am, the Litany of Reconciliation at 12 noon, and Evening Prayer at 4 pm. On Sundays, the 8.30 am service will be replaced by our ‘Welcome to Sunday’ informal service at 9.15 am and the Cathedral Eucharist at 10.30 am (apart from next Sunday, Remembrance Sunday, when we will begin at 10 am in order to hold the traditional Act of Commemoration at 11 am).

Keep us, good Lord,
under the shadow of your mercy
in this time of uncertainty and distress.
Sustain and support the anxious and fearful,
and lift up all who are brought low;
that we may rejoice in your comfort
knowing that nothing can separate us from your love
in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Amen.
