This May we celebrate 60 years of the New Cathedral, find out about all our upcoming celebrations. All are very warmly invited!

Coventry Cathedral Diamond Jubilee Thanksgiving Service

25th May, 11am

Join Archbishop Justin Welby, Bishop Christopher, the Dean, Cathedral clergy and representatives of the Community of the Cross of Nails International Board and students from Coventry schools as together we give thanks for 60 years of our Cathedral and are commissioned for the years to come. The celebration service will include music from a specially commissioned work by Matthew Martin, sung by the Cathedral choir, as well as music sung at the consecration on 25th May 1962 and a new hymn written for this Diamond Jubilee, which reflects on the Cathedral’s work as a place of peace and reconciliation.

All are welcome at the service. The service will also be streamed live online:

Join us for our SIXTY YEARS party where we will break bread, share memories and most importantly thank you for being a part of our Cathedral story!
There will be locally sourced food, live music and most of all lots of nattering about our past, present and future!
