Purpose of Role To guide visitors around Coventry Cathedral
Reporting to Carla Crawley – Head of Tourism
Tasks
- Enhance the visitor experience by guiding groups around both the Ruins and New Cathedral. providing detailed information about the Cathedral, its buildings and history
- Guide booked groups and coach tours and more ad hoc groups
- Open up welcoming positive conversations with visitors leading on to a donation ask
- To actively promote the Cathedral and other activities, events and services here.
- Provide support to the Welcome Team, particularly by offering a meet and greet and question answering service
- Attend any meetings or training to help with role
Volunteers will be asked to do some or all of these tasks as agreed with their Volunteer Group leader.
