Returning on Saturday 12th August The Really Big Chorus. Tickets available here or can be purchased in our Cathedral shop.
The Really Big Chorus is one of the world’s largest community choirs, with over 10,000 active members. Our singers come from all over the UK, but also further afield, from continental Europe, the USA, Far East and Australia. In addition to organising three events a year in the Royal Albert Hall, the most well-known of which is Messiah from Scratch, which has been running for well over 40 years, we also organise an annual week-long Choral Summer School based at Warwick University, which culminates in a performance with orchestra – this year, Elgar’s magnificent The Dream of Gerontius, conducted by Brian Kay with the English Symphony Orchestra. Over 180 singers will be taking part.
