Coventry Cathedral is well-known internationally as a striking example of twentieth century church architecture and for its ministry of reconciliation. It has a committed core of worshippers who delight in the combination of traditional and contemporary liturgy and music and it attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors both from this country and abroad. We are seeking to appoint someone who will join our team of musicians to contribute positively to our fine musical tradition as we reach out to a generation not used to church and work towards City of Culture 2021.

We are looking for a self-employed, qualified and experienced voice teacher to give vocal coaching to our Cathedral choristers. To start as soon as possible.

Duties: Mondays 4.20-5.45pm, Tuesdays 4.25-6.05pm.

Total: 3 hours per week for 38 weeks beginning as soon as possible. At a rate of £30 per hour. This position is subject to receiving DBS clearance.

This post currently only has external funding for a twenty four month period. There should be no expectations of continuing employment thereafter.
