In September 2019 world leading scientists, historians and scholars will speak at Coventry Cathedral on the evidence for a creator God.

The presentations cover 7 “imponderables” in support of theism. From the Big Bang and DNA to Ethics and Consciousness the question will be asked: is it really plausible that all of this came out of nothing and for no particular reason?

The speakers include: Dr Denis Alexander a molecular biologist from Cambridge University speaking on DNA; Ard Louis, Professor of Theoretical Physics at Oxford University, discussing the beginnings of the universe; Prof George Ellis (a former colleague of Stephen Hawking), flying in from Cape Town, examining ethics; Sharon Dirckx (Cambridge PhD in Brain Imaging) discussing the mystery of consciousness; Prof John Lennox looking at the wonder of life itself and Prof Paul Davies (world leading physicist and a non-religious agnostic) questioning the atheistic explanation for the laws of the universe. The series ends with Lee Strobel (former atheist and investigative journalist) and NT Wright (leading New Testament scholar) explaining the historical evidence for the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The event is unmissable for anybody who has an open mind and has asked themselves the most important question we all face: why am I here?
