Events Marketing Coordinator
Part-Time 2 days per week
£17,500 per annum (pro-rata)

Our Plumb Line Centenary Arts Festival marks 100 years of the Diocese and Cathedral of Coventry, since their creation in 1918. From grassroots projects with local children, spoken word performances, art exhibitions, classical concerts, family festivals, to theatre and dance – our exciting programme has something for all audiences, old and new, to enjoy. There will be installations which explore and open up the incredible architecture and art treasures of the modern Cathedral and the evocative space of the Cathedral ruins will play host to many thrilling events throughout the year; welcoming the people of Coventry and beyond to see our beloved space with new eyes and a renewed sense of shared pride.

We are looking for an exceptional candidate with experience in digital marketing and a passion for arts and events. You will be a creative thinker with the ability to write compelling marketing copy and implement multimedia marketing campaigns – you should have a proven track record and genuine enthusiasm for social media use and a familiarity updating website content. An ability to understand the different strands of activity within the Cathedral is vital – our Marketing Coordinator will need to have a conscientious approach to delivering marketing outcomes that engage with target audiences for a diverse range of events whilst also respecting the Cathedral’s core voice as a Christian organisation. Outstanding IT skills, organisation and administration skills, as well as excellent communication skills and a professional and positive approach are essential.
