Coventry Cathedral’s Education Team are very excited to be at the heart of the nation’s plans for remembering the centenary marking the end of World War 1. Along with Oasis Trust and the Quaker Education team we have developed a programme of curriculum based projects, enabling school students to engage in passionate debate about controversial issues and build attitudes that build tolerance and peace. In the months leading up to November 2018 schools can create their own peace charter, teach lessons, run workshops and nominate students for a national award in peace building.

Commemorate Armistice Day 2018 with the Schools Team!

Although some sources are saying that Knife Angel (see here) has already arrived in Coventry, we are not expecting this amazing sculpture to be with us until the week beginning March 11th. It will be here until mid-April.
