Canon Dr Sarah Hills was one of a number of people who took part in a peace walk organised by one of the members of the Cross of Nails Community, the Human Rights Centre in Cottbus, Germany during Holy Week (she joined from the Thursday to Easter Sunday). The walk was to raise awareness of the numbers of Christians and other minorities fleeing the area in the wake of the years of fighting and unrest, and to seek to build, as they pass through and stay among villages and local communities, some trust, dialogue and reconciliation between Muslims, Christians and other faiths in the region.

Canon Sarah will talk about the places and people that she met and prayed with, and the impact of the journey on Thursday 22nd June, at 12.30 pm in St Michael’s House. Everyone is welcome – bring your sandwiches; tea and coffee provided.
