duke-of-kentIt’s been confirmed today that His Royal Highness The Duke of Kent KG GCMG GCVO ADC will visit Coventry on Saturday November 14th to take part in a number of events commemorating the 75th anniversary of the bombing of the city.

Included in the Duke’s itinerary is a concert being given in the Cathedral at 7.30 pm. The English Symphony Orchestra and Saint Michael’s Singers will perform Mozart’s Requiem & his Vesperae solennes de confessore.

Royal visit in November

Although some sources are saying that Knife Angel (see here) has already arrived in Coventry, we are not expecting this amazing sculpture to be with us until the week beginning March 11th. It will be here until mid-April.
