The Coventry Way is a rule of life. It is a practical expression and a deeper way of living and praying in a reconciliation way.
Those who follow The Coventry Way commit to lead their lives as ambassadors for Christ through reconciliation, as “God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, and has entrusted to us the ministry of reconciliation” (2 Corinthians 5.18), and they bring a message of healing and hope to hurting situations in their own lives, communities and the wider world.
Why The Coventry Way?
Our heritage and our future are rooted in the words of Jesus Christ, ‘Father, forgive’, used by Provost Dick Howard on 15th November 1940 in the Cathedral ruins, the day after Coventry and its Cathedral were destroyed by German bombing.
