Journey to Bethlehem

Activities at the 10.30am Sunday service

These groups are all about bringing Jesus to life in the lives of the children that come. Our aim is that each child will know they are loved by God, that they can be a friend of Jesus, and that they will come to relationship with him whatever their age.

Crèche

From birth up to the beginning of pre-school year. They meet in the Chapel of Unity and enjoy playing, singing and stories.

Children's Church

For those in the age range from the beginning of the pre-school year to early teens. This group meets at the back of the Cathedral before the service and then goes down to the Lecture Hall, usually during the opening hymn. The majority of the teaching is done through craft, games and story telling. The group starts together and splits into more age related discussion areas.

Activities during the week

There is a programme of socials and celebrations throughout the year for children who are part of the community and choir as well as their friends. This is to encourage friendship outside the Sunday environment, seeking to developing the whole child not just their spiritual side.

Coffee Tots

Coffee Tots is a community project based in Coventry city centre, Unit 11 City Arcade. A cafe drop-in for parents and young children providing a relaxing cafe environment offering affordable fair trade drinks and snacks together with a play and craft area for the children. Open Monday to Friday 9.30 till 3.15.
