INTERNATIONAL CENTRE FOR RECONCILIATION (ICR)
Funding
Although working closely with the Church of England, the ICR is a financially independent organisation.
The remarkable breadth and impact of the International Ministry over the last sixty years has been achieved
through the generous support of individuals and groups who have shared the vision of reconciliation.
Our German and American partners have, since the early days, been instrumental in helping us meet many of our targets.
In recent years, governmental institutions and Charitable Trusts have provided significant funding.
As it enters the twenty-first century, the International Centre for Reconciliation is engaged with some of the pressing
issues that threaten world peace and security. The Centre is committed to facilitating dialogue between communities in conflict,
to providing relief for those caught up in dire war-like situations and to pursuing on-going research in support of its projects.
The level of funding required to meet these challenges has risen considerably in recent years. In 2004, the ICR budget exceeded £1.2. It is set to rise to a projected £1.9 million over 2005.
We need the support of businesses, organisations and individuals for this work to continue. To support the Ministry of Reconciliation, please contact Michael Mogan, Development Director by writing to the 'International Centre For Reconciliation' at the Cathedral's postal address,
or telephone 024 7652 1209, or email michael.mogan@coventrycathedral.org.uk.
